The Rendez-vous
RENDEZ VOUS arrives with a simple idea. Bring people together through culture. In a time when many events focus on one activity, this project creates a space where music, food, art, and conversation exist side by side. Every part of the experience encourages discovery, exchange, and connection.
The project comes from a partnership between Akacia Productions and PHÉNOMÈNES JOYEUX. Both organizations have years of experience in cultural production, entertainment, and event management. Their goal is not only to organize an event but also to create a place where people can meet, share ideas, and enjoy meaningful experiences.
The name says a lot about the project. A rendez vous is a meeting. It is a moment when people come together for a purpose. The organizers built the entire concept around this idea. They want visitors, artists, chefs, creators, and cultural professionals to share the same environment. As a result, new conversations and unexpected encounters can happen naturally.

A Space Designed for Exchange
RENDEZ VOUS brings together several forms of expression in one setting. Live music, culinary experiences, artisan markets, and artistic performances all contribute to the atmosphere. Instead of moving from one isolated activity to another, visitors experience a continuous flow of culture and creativity.
The project values interaction. People are encouraged to explore, stop, discover, and engage with what surrounds them. Music becomes a starting point for conversation. Food creates opportunities to share stories. Creative spaces allow visitors to meet the people behind the work.
This approach reflects a modern vision of culture. Rather than separating disciplines, RENDEZ VOUS connects them. The result is an experience that feels open, welcoming, and alive.

Music, Food, and Creativity
Food plays an important role in the identity of the event. For its first edition, RENDEZ VOUS focuses on the meeting of Tunisian, Algerian, and Spanish culinary traditions. Through food, visitors can discover the links that connect different Mediterranean cultures.
One of the highlights is a special table d’hôtes dedicated to Algerian cuisine. Led by a renowned chef, the experience presents a fresh look at traditional recipes and ingredients. Guests enjoy more than a meal. They discover stories, techniques, and cultural influences that have shaped Algerian gastronomy over time.
Throughout the event, invited chefs prepare tasting experiences inspired by Tunisia, Algeria, and Spain. Visitors can sample different flavors while moving through the venue. The culinary program remains active throughout the day and evening, creating moments of discovery and exchange.
A central cocktail bar adds another layer to the experience. It serves as a natural meeting point where people can gather, relax, and continue conversations.
Around the food area, visitors can explore a creative market featuring artisans, designers, and independent creators. Handcrafted objects, lifestyle products, and artistic interventions help create a lively atmosphere. The market encourages direct contact between creators and the public, making every interaction more personal.
A Mediterranean Musical Journey

The first edition of RENDEZ VOUS takes place on June 18 at flō Tunis in Gammarth and on June 19 at Le Jardin au Colibri in Sousse. The artistic program reflects the spirit of the project by bringing together artists connected by Mediterranean influences.
Labess stands at the center of the lineup. Founded in Montreal by Algerian musician Nedjim Bouizzoul, the group has developed a unique sound that combines chaâbi, flamenco, rumba gitane, and African influences. Over the years, Labess has built a loyal audience in Tunisia and continues to attract large crowds with its energetic live performances.
The program also includes Hamza Bouchnak OR KES TRA. Known as one of Tunisia’s leading composers and producers, Hamza Bouchnak presents a renewed orchestral approach to some of his most recognized works. His music combines modern arrangements with a strong connection to Tunisian culture.
Cheb Mimo brings another perspective to the event. The DJ and NTS Radio resident has dedicated years to exploring and promoting North African music. His performances celebrate the richness of raï and other regional genres while introducing them to wider audiences.
The lineup also features Mammou, a Tunisian DJ, performer, and artistic director. His work blends electronic sounds with Mediterranean influences and focuses on creating collective experiences through music and creativity.
More Than an Event
RENDEZ VOUS is not built around a single performance or attraction. It is built around people. Every aspect of the project supports the idea of meeting, sharing, and discovering. Music, food, craftsmanship, and artistic expression all contribute to the same vision.
The event welcomes a diverse audience. It speaks to people who enjoy culture, creativity, and authentic experiences. It also attracts visitors who want more than entertainment and who value connection and exchange.
By bringing together artists, creators, chefs, and audiences in the same space, RENDEZ VOUS creates an experience that feels both local and international. It celebrates the cultural ties that connect Mediterranean societies while opening the door to new encounters.
At its heart, RENDEZ VOUS reminds us that culture is not only something we watch or listen to. It is something we share. Through music, food, conversation, and creativity, the project creates a place where people can come together and experience that idea in a meaningful way.
