As part of Shluq, Chullu and IICT present “Poetry, Poetry, Take Me Away. The Body as an Altar,” a collective ritual exploring the relationship between poetry, the body, and visual art. Through writing, stitching, and painting on garments, participants will transform clothing into living surfaces for poetic expression. The workshop draws inspiration from the practices of the Italian Antigruppo movement, which brought poetry beyond the page and into everyday spaces, from walls and tablecloths to shirts.

Open to everyone, the workshop invites participants to experience poetry as a physical and collective act, where the garment becomes an altar and the body a space for the inscription and activation of words.

The workshop will take place on October 23, from 11 AM to 2 PM, at DAYONE in La Marsa, Tunis. Participation is free.
