After getting married in September 2026, Tunisian entrepreneur Midos Ajmi and Paris-based content creator Meryem H are sharing their honeymoon adventure on a deserted island through a series of videos on Midos’s YouTube channel. Between independent fashion, digital culture and the desire to build a life on their own terms, their story offers a glimpse into the personal lives of two young Tunisian creatives.

A different kind of honeymoon

For some couples, a honeymoon means a luxury hotel, a familiar tourist destination or a carefully planned itinerary. For Midos Lajimi and Meryem H, the experience takes a different direction. Following their September 2026 wedding, the couple have embarked on an island adventure, documenting their journey for an audience following their lives online.

Their first video, titled شهر العسل في جزيرة مهجورة 1 DAY, introduces the honeymoon as an experience away from the usual routines of everyday life. Published on Midos Ajmi’s YouTube channel, the video invites viewers to follow the couple as they explore their temporary island home.

Beyond the romantic setting, their journey brings together two worlds that increasingly overlap among a new generation of Tunisian creatives: entrepreneurship and content creation. Both have developed independent projects in fashion and lifestyle, building professional identities around their own ideas and ambitions.

Midos Ajmi and Bey and Bey

Midos Ajmi is the founder of Bey and Bey, a Tunisian clothing brand that places him within the country’s independent fashion scene.

Building a clothing label involves more than creating products. It requires developing a recognisable identity, understanding an audience and establishing a relationship between a brand and the people who wear it. In an increasingly digital environment, independent fashion entrepreneurs also have to find ways to stand out while building communities around their work.

Through Bey and Bey, Midos Lajimi has pursued his own project within this landscape. His YouTube channel offers another dimension to his public presence, allowing audiences to follow experiences beyond the world of fashion and entrepreneurship.

The honeymoon videos extend that personal storytelling into a new chapter, bringing viewers along after his wedding and offering a more intimate glimpse into his life outside business.

Meryem H: from a nine-to-five job to Sadfafinou

Based in Paris, Meryem H is a content creator and the founder of Sadfafinou, a pyjama brand she established after leaving her nine-to-five job to pursue her own entrepreneurial ambitions.

Her transition reflects a decision familiar to many young creatives: stepping away from a conventional professional routine to build something independently. Turning an idea into a business requires developing products, establishing a visual identity and finding an audience willing to connect with the brand.

With Sadfafinou, Meryem H has entered the lifestyle and homewear space, where comfort, aesthetics and personal expression meet. Her experience as a content creator also connects her business to the digital platforms through which independent brands can introduce their products and develop relationships with their audiences.

Her entrepreneurial journey adds another dimension to the couple’s story. Alongside Midos Lajimi’s work with Bey and Bey, Sadfafinou represents a separate creative project built around her own ambitions and vision.

When the honeymoon becomes a story

The couple’s decision to document their honeymoon turns a personal milestone into an ongoing visual narrative. Rather than sharing only photographs from their wedding or destination, they are inviting viewers to follow their journey through video.

This approach reflects the changing relationship between creators and their audiences. Travel, relationships and everyday experiences have become part of the content people follow online, blurring the boundaries between private moments and public storytelling.

For a generation whose professional lives often depend on digital visibility, the island offers an interesting contrast. Their work connects them to fashion, audiences, business and online communities, while the idea of escaping to a remote destination suggests a temporary departure from those routines.

At the same time, documenting the experience allows them to transform their journey into a story that extends beyond the island itself. The audience is no longer simply looking at the final photographs of a honeymoon but following an experience as it unfolds.

A new chapter for two Tunisian creatives

Midos Ajmi and Meryem H represent two entrepreneurial paths shaped by independent projects and digital culture. Through Bey and Bey, Midos operates in Tunisian fashion, while Meryem has built Sadfafinou after leaving her conventional job to pursue her own business.

Their marriage brings these individual journeys into a shared chapter, without taking away from the identities and projects each has developed independently.

Their honeymoon offers a different perspective on a generation often presented through its professional ambitions, online visibility and entrepreneurial aspirations. Behind the brands and content are personal experiences, relationships and decisions that shape life beyond work.

After their September 2026 wedding, the couple have chosen to share the beginning of married life through an adventure on a deserted island. As their journey continues on Midos Lajimi’s YouTube channel, viewers can follow this new chapter beyond the usual wedding announcements and honeymoon photographs.
