The release of EA SPORTS FC 26 has brought fresh excitement to football fans worldwide, particularly with the introduction of Power Cards, which provide boosted versions of players based on real-life form, standout moments, and tournament performances. For Tunisians, this update is significant because it highlights several key national team stars who are now gaining more visibility within the game. Players such as Ellyes Skhiri, Ali Abdi, and Hannibal Mejbri stand out as the highest-rated Tunisians at launch. Skhiri, long regarded as one of the most consistent midfielders in Europe, brings balance and stamina, making him a natural candidate for enhanced cards that reward defensive awareness and box-to-box play. Abdi, with his pace and ability to contribute both in defense and attack, could easily see his acceleration, crossing, and stamina boosted in special editions, while Mejbri’s creativity, dribbling, and vision make him a prime choice for dynamic upgrades reflecting his attacking flair.

Other names like Montassar Talbi and Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane also deserve attention. Talbi, as a commanding central defender, benefits from traits such as tackling, strength, and aerial duels, which could become even more dominant on a Power Card. Ben Romdhane, known for intelligence and positioning in midfield, is another player who could be rewarded with enhanced passing, long-shots, and overall control. What makes this particularly exciting for Tunisian football fans is that Power Cards offer more than just cosmetic changes; they turn national talents into highly usable players within Ultimate Team, giving supporters the chance to build competitive squads featuring their favorite stars.

Compared to previous editions such as FC 24 and FC 25, where players like Skhiri, Abdi, Khazri, and Talbi consistently appeared among the strongest Tunisians, the arrival of Power Cards in FC 26 raises expectations even higher. In earlier games, Skhiri had already received impressive ratings, including special cards reaching 87, showing EA’s recognition of his consistency. With FC 26, the system now allows for even more dynamic evolution, tied directly to weekly performances and international tournaments. This means Tunisian players performing well in the Africa Cup of Nations or in European leagues have a greater chance of seeing their digital counterparts boosted in real time.

Yet one noticeable absence remains: Tunisian female players are not currently featured in FC 26 Power Cards or Ultimate Team selections. This absence can be attributed to several factors, beginning with licensing, as EA must secure the rights to use player likenesses and national team branding, and it is possible that Tunisia’s women’s football federation or clubs have not entered into such agreements. Limited international visibility also plays a role, as the game tends to prioritize leagues and nations with extensive media coverage and statistical tracking, while Tunisian women’s football has not yet received the same exposure. EA also focuses its resources on players and teams from markets with the largest audiences, which means stars from North America, Europe, and well-publicized competitions receive priority in terms of dynamic content like Power Cards. While Tunisia does have talented female footballers such as Hanna Hamdi, Mariem Houij, and Ella Kaabachi, their performances often go unnoticed by global gaming publishers due to structural gaps in promotion and data collection. As a result, Tunisian women are absent from FC 26, not out of lack of quality, but due to a combination of licensing, visibility, and commercial considerations.

In the end, Tunisians in FC 26 bring more than just numbers on a screen; they represent a bridge between football’s digital arena and the passion of real supporters. Seeing players like Skhiri, Abdi, Mejbri, Talbi, and Ben Romdhane elevated through Power Cards allows fans to celebrate their achievements in new ways and keeps Tunisian football firmly in the spotlight of the global gaming community, even as the hope remains that female Tunisian players will one day be given the same recognition within the virtual stage.
