Both Tunisian nationals and foreign residents living in Tunisia are invited to take advantage of this opportunity. To benefit from free entry, visitors simply need to present a valid national ID card or a residency permit.<\/p><p>The Agency emphasized that the decision reflects its ongoing commitment to cultural democratization and national pride, especially on such a significant date in Tunisian history. Republic Day, marking the official proclamation of the Tunisian Republic in 1957, is a symbolic occasion that invites reflection on the nation\u2019s achievements and shared identity.<\/p><p>By opening the doors of museums and heritage sites across the country, the initiative also supports local tourism and provides an ideal occasion for families, students, and cultural enthusiasts to explore Tunisia\u2019s ancient cities, archaeological treasures, and preserved monuments, from Carthage and Dougga to the Medina of Tunis and beyond.<\/p><p>The Agency invites the public to seize this opportunity to rediscover the depth and diversity of Tunisia\u2019s cultural legacy.
