
Carthage Film Festival 2025 Opens Submissions for Feature Film Competition
The official call for entries is now open for the Feature Film Competition at the 36th edition of the Carthage Film Days (Journées Cinématographiques de Carthage – JCC), set to take place from December 13 to 20, 2025.
In a Facebook post published on Tuesday, July 28, the JCC organizing committee announced that submissions for the official feature film competition are open until September 15, 2025. All entries must be submitted exclusively through the following link: https://inscription.jcctunisie.org.
As outlined in the festival’s official regulations, the competition is open only to films completed after January 1, 2025.
This year’s edition is being led by Tarek Ben Chaabane, a renowned film critic and professor of film theory at the Higher School of Audiovisual and Cinema (ESAC), University of Carthage. Appointed on April 19, Ben Chaabane was previously part of the JCC leadership team, serving as Artistic Director. The Carthage Film Days are organized under the supervision of Tunisia’s Ministry of Cultural Affairs.
