Downtown Vibes

Since 2013, Downtown Vibes has quietly shaped the foundation of Tunisia’s underground house culture. Conceived by Hamdi Toukbari (aka Hamdi Ryder) and Aymen Ghannoudi, the collective pioneered intimate gatherings, vinyl-first sessions, and the Secret Vibes concept. Their focus has always been authenticity over spectacle, forging spaces where community, crate‑digging, and deep house ethos intertwine. They also launched Eddisco, Tunisia’s first record store, anchoring vinyl culture in Tunis’s creative pulse. Their influence stretches beyond nightlife, it has anchored a generation’s understanding of house music as culture, not commodity.
